Wisconsin Lead-Safe Firm Certification

Wisconsin administers its own lead program through the Department of Health Services (Asbestos & Lead Section). Contractors disturbing paint in pre-1978 Wisconsin properties need a Wisconsin Lead Company certification, a separate credential from the federal EPA firm certification.

The Wisconsin Lead Company certification is valid four years and can be filed through the state’s WALDO online portal or on paper with a check. It requires an associated certified individual. We handle the WALDO submission (or the paper filing) as your authorized agent.
