Maryland Lead-Safe Firm Certification

Maryland is an EPA-administered state, which means lead-safe firm certification for Maryland contractors is issued directly by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. Any Maryland firm paid to disturb paint in pre-1978 housing or child-occupied facilities must hold this certification before advertising for or performing the work.
